ohhh... dont dey look cute together...
hmmm, mayb u dun smell s bad s u look... she prolly thought!

torres' band
LET ME TELL YOU ONE THING.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE FOOTBALL.
but one thing i dont like about UEFA EURO is the time difference. i'm getting old, my body simply cant stand late night/ early morning matches anymore. And as we approach the quarterfinals, kickoff time will be 2.45am every freaking NIGHT. meaning matches will be done by 4.30am and the post-match adrenaline will continue pumping till 5am, taking an hour before i have my long awaited sleep only to have dad wake me up at 9am asking me to join him for breakfast. by 10.30am, i'll look lk a druggie because my nose will be leaking and my yawns will be continuous. i'm a goner in the afternoons and by night, i stay awake doing NOTHING or pre-match meditations if needed until the game starts. and this will be my bloody routine till the end of the MONTH!
i'm not COMPLAINING. SERIOUS. cuz i LOVE FOOTBALL...
and in spain's first match against russia, while david villa was celebrating the first goal of his hat-trick, i spotted something that i have been looking for...
after a while, it was hard watching torres because everytime he appeared on the tv screen, i find myself crawling towards the tv, my right hand extended to the front and my fingers touching/caressing the band/screen. i want it sooo badly!
i'll even kill to have it.
apparently this band is pretty popular amongst football players.
even sergio ramos has one.
OH WELL speaking of life and accessories on a less sour note, my partner in crime jus turned three on the 12th.

to spay or not to spay?!?!?!
=
after a long ponder and weighing up the pros and cons, i've finally come to a decision.

but seriously, as painful and suffering as it is, this is for the best AND only for the best.
i) it reduces the chances of getting cancer by 99.5%. wow! does not get better than that!
ii) it helps control doggie hormones during mating seasons. both my legs will be happy with that cuz getting humped is no fun... bubs can b a lil aggressive sumtimes even to the extent of leaving scratch marks behind :(
AND do you know how embarrassing it is when you come out from the kitchen with your guests' drinks in your hands only to see that your lil pooch has been 'entertaining' your guests wif special hugs.
'hey... looks like i have pheromones after all' a friend said barely a smile on the face that left me stunned. i seriously did not know where to hide my hot-burning face after that!
iii) let us all gather together and rejoice for bubbles wont be experiencing heat cycles anymore *peace* meaning say bye bye to Ms. Flow who has been pretty much a nuisance since we live in a condo. wiping after a red dot trail isnt fun sumtimes.
iv) apparently neutering can end certain 'bad' behaviours. believe it or not, i did a survey once on dogage.com and found out that bubbles has minor behavioural problems because she begs for food at the dinner table and jumps on2 the guests well ok more lk prowl on2 the guests. hopefully by spaying her, she'll be more well behaved. *HOPEFULLY- sorry mr. paran. two words. gio tee.*
so i stand firmly with my decision. a decision i dreaded at first. bt having researched and actually reading through some articles regarding neutering, it is basically a positive thing to do. both health and behaviour benefits from it and what more can i ask for when it states that it extents your doggie's life.
w/o a doubt that is the main reason i'm goin' for this! of course i also have dreams that bubbles will live to the day she can even play catch with my children... there's no denying that!

love that dog
i am proud to say i'm an obsessed dog owner...
jack on the left and bono on the right
it's their loyalty and how they'll stand by you through thick and thin w/o questioning...
nat and dalex
dogs are pretty much like human beings too...
each with its own character and likings.
shell with dolly, sam n bubs, nat n a struggling dalex
notice the picture, how dolly and shell are looking at each other instead of the camera, nat and dalex totally candid and not ready while sam and bubs are the only ones posing....
XOXO
dogs love the attention.
they'll never say no to a cuddle and a sweet gentle muakz on the head.
bubbles is well known to be very vain by now
bet you didnt noe that dogs feel more confident when you tell them they are pretty.
i noe bubbles does or maybe she's jus super vain for a dog.
enjoying the breeze... spot the open legs!
and like humans, dogs enjoy a breezy evening walk...
napping time
and when it's time for them to sleep... nothing in this world could ever look that cute sleeping
dogs are the most loyal companion one can get. man's best friend, they are the ones bringing joy and laughter into my life and the very reason that is keeping me saint.
YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT DOG

how i ALMOST became becky bloomwood...
13 days ago... we welcomed the new year and no one welcomed the new year with wider arms than the singles. why?
2 words: red packets... easy windfall... mo money!!!
sooo unlike past years, i basically sat and pondered about what i should purchase with my new found fortune. it could be maturity, it could be the fear of being broke AGAIN bt i've finally narrowed my list down to jackets. YES... am gonna spend my money wisely by purchasing a fashionable jacket. it's nt a want bt rather a need... the current jackety owned isnt so white anymore plus i will be using it religiously soon in a four seasons country.
i was hoping to stick to my strict regime bt i somehow found my way to the shoe section and couldnt help but salivate at a pair of sandals i saw in sembonia. only problem was it cost a bombing RM119. for a pair of sandals? bt the cheap bata sandals i bought didnt last too long... so maybe RM119 will last much longer than a pair that cost RM49.90... you think? plus it's really really nice... and it goes really well with my red toe nails... nt many sandals can pull that off you know!!!!
fashionable jacket = RM200.00++
crop suit jacket = RM 400.00++
sembonia sandals = RM119.00++
that totals up to .... minus money earned frm ang pow... and that will leave me with -100++...
*oh boy! oh boy! breath... breath* i hate being a student who relies on the monthly allowances given from dad!!! *ok i should calm down now* maybe i should start working *seriously??!?!* but am too lazy. *sigh*sigh*sigh* i guess i'll need to recalculate and rethink the situation before purchasing anything at all! am no rebecca bloomwood... am responsible with money. *screams*
bubbles, on the other hand is pretty happy with her latest purchase (with my help of course)... money frm the red packet given by her favourite aunt spent on hair clips. the lucky bugger is contented!
and boy are those hair clips cute!!!

a four legged cam whore
what will happen when you have a DSLR with a brand new micro lens, a 'novice wanting to turn pro photographer', an ever-ready four legged poser and an obsessed dog owner?
you'll capture an entire album of different moments/angle/emotions of the world's vainest dog...
the pictures were exquisite even with normal zoom in lens, no micro needed...

a 'bubbly' xmas carol
it's christmas in two weeks time. my college is already overly decorated while most shopping malls are relatively quiet this year. it was not so quiet at my aunt's plc last night though, carollers frm st. faith church came over and sang us some good old christmas carols.
being my aunt's favourite dog, bubbles was invited too. with two red ribbons one on each side of her ears and a cute pink border dress, i thought bubbles looked just right for the festivity.
my aunt's place is just 8 floors above. the elevator took us all the way up and we reached her place by 7.30pm just like i promised to a week ago. bubbles made a grand entrance. everybody "awww'd" at her red ribbons and her cute dress and for a moment there i was invisible. bubbles was surprisingly very well-behaved last night. she shook hands and sat on command and was glued to me the entire night.
the carollers arrived bout 8.00pm o maybe later... i dont really know. my time was pretty occupied by the little pooch who was more excited than anyone else. 'more people... YEAH!' she prolly thought.

the carollers sang a number of beautiful christmas carols and boy was i glad when Ding Dong! Merrily On The High made the list. it's my favourite all time xmas carols. it started after watching Little Women and as i was singing and humming to the 'Glo----------ria' part, scene of the gals singing by the piano as one by one their candles were lighted by mum Susan Sarandon, revitalized in my mind. everybody sang along and the only one who cudnt, was smiling with a jutting tongue the entire way.
ahhh! i just love the christmas spirit. everybody was warm and MERRY. it was an experience for the little one. with two red ribbons off and nothing clingin on to her fur later, the little one sat comfortably in her crib and was ready to sleep by 9.30pm. a little tired, but am sure you can see contentment in her eyes.
