QUICKIE:
seeing the name on the 1st class honours list... and that name belonged to me... i thought i'm truly blessed

taking the fast lane to court...

it was my 53rd day (11 days left) being an employee... and my first time following my boss and a colleague (chambering student) to court...

mode of transportation was a sliver CLK 240, waitin for us at the parking lot...
i kept my composure, swallowing hard wen i gt nearer to the car, trying hard to keep my brain active for any drool alert...

many heads turned towards the direction of the 3 people well suited in black and white...

the one with dark long hair was walkin slowly, letting the wind blow through his neatly combed ponytail, with the car keys to the CLK swingin in his hand...

the other who had a file and a 'High Court Rule Book' on her left hand, a black leather handbag on her right shoulder and her black blazer on her right hand, was walked gracefully behind the man with the keys... following her boss to court seems like an everyday routine by now...

while the youngest among them had trouble carrying a travel bag loaded with law books and papers ready for the trial in her right hand n her handbag on her left, walking with her legs a lil wide open jus to avoid bumpin into the bulky bag and to keep her balance... her legs stil feelin a lil heavy from dancing 5 hrs on sat's music fest... she was a little bit behind the boss and the chambering student..

the lawyer, the chambering student and the attachment student got into the shiny CLK...

the two-door vehicle was powerful... hardly a sound as it accelerate its way through town... the car looked elegant yet fierce... many drivers stared, some in admiration, some was just bitter, some ponder how it feels lk sitting in a car like that...

the atmosphere in the car was a little different though... filed with loud burps, whistling and humming of tunes... it was funny that most people will presume that a car goin as fast as 180 km/hr ++ would be listening to some hip-hop tunes or nirvana, bt the lawyer was humming to avril lavigne's 'i'm with you'. he was uncertain with the lyrics, unlike the chambering student nex to him who actually got most part of the lyrics rite... the attachment student behind was secretly laughing...

the court was a lot bigger than wad the student expected... and the trial only lasted 45 mins though... 30 mins of waiting for the judge 2 arrive, 15 mins for both parties to agree for the case to be adjourned to another date...

the lawyer and the chambering student was kind enough to show the student a lil tour round the court house... the student looked around with her curious eyes, draggin the travel bag loaded with law books and papers along the way, which for that moment didnt seem to be troubling her anymore...

tour done and within minutes they were back in the CLK heading back to the office... 'it is funny that we go through all the trouble only to have the case adjourned to another day', the student thought in the car and when celine dion's the prayer came on the radio, the lawyer was delighted, whistling the entire song and even after the song ended...
